Education, installation, and consultation services to suit your needs

Parents and Caregivers

At your home, at your convenience.

One-on-one hands on, personalized seat check covering all aspects of seat installation and use at your home or location of choice. Learn everything you need to know to feel confident and empowered using your own seat, or have it done for you. Convenient and comprehensive. $40 for up to two seats, $15 each additional seat in the south-east part of the city. Travel fee may apply west of the Red River or north of Regent.

Personalized shopping and purchasing assistance in-store. Starting at $40.

Troubleshooting difficult seating situations including test fitting seats. Expecting a 3rd child and want to avoid a minivan? It’s often possible with careful seat selection. Starting at $40.

Professionals in law enforcement, health promotion, birth support, and more

In-service workshops, demonstrations, or custom print products to suit your organization’s needs and focus.

Lunch and learn sessions to focus on broad overview or detail as needed.
- Example: 30 minute session for nursing staff addressing newborn transportation at discharge after birth. May include print products for ongoing reference, and on-call telephone support.
- Example: 1 hour session with community policing group addressing major points of misuse related to the Highway Traffic Act.

In-person support at community events or one on one with clients.
- Example: 15 minutes mini-session at weekly parent drop-in, followed by 45 minutes circulating and answering one-on-one questions with families.
- Example: 1 hour session at retail store assisting a family choose and install an appropriate car seat for their child with special needs.

Full CPST training for one or more staff persons. Send one person for training to be the child passenger safety point person within your organization.
- Example: doulas can offer child passenger safety support to families as a "one stop shop" for everything new parents need to know for their baby.

Child Care Providers

The obligation is on the driver to ensure that all child passengers are properly seated at all times.

In-person support and evaluation of the specific transportation needs of your daycare. Complete installation of seats in the vehicle. Troubleshooting and shopping advice for maximum flexibility for your child passengers. Starts at $50.

Retail

In-service training as broad or focused as needed. Understand the basics of child passenger safety to be able to best assist families at the shopping stage. Compare features across brands and understand how they stack up in the marketplace and during daily use.

Full CPST training for staff, adding value to your store’s services. Send one person for training to be the child passenger safety point person at your store.

On-site clinic or installation days with me as an on-site expert. Provide your customers with my services with car seat purchase.

Vehicle Sales and Service

In-service workshops, demonstrations, or custom print products to suit your business’s needs and focus.

Lunch and learn sessions to focus on broad overview or detail as needed.
- Example: 60 minute session for sales staff highlighting the family-friendly and child passenger safety-related features of the brand from a sales perspective. Includes in-vehicle time, car seat installation demonstration, and custom print products and reference material.

On-call for customers at point of sale or during the test drive period. Help a family choose an appropriate vehicle that will grow with their children.
